By completing and submitting the registration form, the participant agrees that the organizers may process his/her personal data contained in the form, include his/her name and affiliation in the program and the book of abstracts.

Terms & Conditions:

Following the entry into force of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27th April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter referred to as “RODO”), we hereby inform that we process your personal data based on the following principles:

  • the administrator of the personal data collected due to registration for the “XI Conference on Nanotechnology NANO2024” is Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin, 5 M. Curie-Sklodowska Square, 20-031 Lublin, NIP: 712-010-36-92, REGON: 000001353
  • giving the data and sending the registration form is voluntary and depends on the will of the person making registration but it is necessary for the processing that is participation in the conference. Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin processes the personal data as defined in the form to ensure participation in the conference based on the agreement on participation in the conference and justification of the data administrator’s interest with regard to educational and scientific activities. The data will be processed by Maria Curie-Sklodowska University at the time of conference realization and then for the purpose and period of time as well as range required by legal regulations for the archival and statistical purposes as well as for ensuring possible claims. However, after the above mentioned periods of time they will be taken away.
  • based on clause 7 item 3 of European Parliament and Council Decree (EU)2016/679 of 27 April 2016 as regards protection of physical persons due to personal data processing and free transfer of such data as well as repeal of the Order 95/46/WE (so called General Decree about Personal Data Protection / GDPR) the person making registration has the right to withdraw the registration according to the conditions binding for the given conference. Registration withdrawal does not affect conformability with the processing law made based on the registration before its withdrawal. Furthermore, according to clause 15-21 and clause 77 of the General Decree about Personal Data Protection the given person has the right of access to the data, their correction, limitation of data processing, data transfer, and in the cases predicted by GDPR claim for data removal or objection to their processing as well as lodging a complaint to the supervisory authorities.
  • based on the personal data decisions will not be subjected to profiling or delivered to other administrators, sold or render accessible to the outer institutions besides them and circumstances of their disclosure according to the legal regulations. The data will not be transmitted to a country beyond the European Economic Area (so called the third country) or an international organization. The consent is not mandatory but necessary to complete the registration process.
